Noisling: 14.4 MWp,
planned down to the last screw.
The largest plant planned with the tool so far: a solar park with CobraSol trackers and 22,324 modules. The mounting structures are going in right now, screw by screw, exactly as planned.
5,486 ground screws, each with its own position and its own height above the terrain. That cannot be planned by hand, let alone a second time when a requirement changes.
How the planning works
The tool reads the surveyed terrain and builds the complete plant from it as a 3D model: tables, mounting structures, drive shafts and screws.
- Screw heights calculated automaticallyFor every screw, the terrain determines how far it has to stick out of the ground for the table to sit correctly.
- Collisions corrected automaticallyTable against table, table against drive shaft, screw against screw. In the final plan: zero collisions.
- Targeted manual reworkProblem spots were adjusted by hand: 10 tables with a corrected tilt, 11 with a height correction.
- Exports straight to the fieldStake-out points for the surveyors and foundation data for the screw installation come from the same model.

What it achieves
Efficient, safe and consistent: what is in the model is staked out and built exactly that way. If something changes, the model recalculates instead of hundreds of values being updated by hand.
Power and farming
Once finished, the land stays in agricultural use. The same field then delivers both power and a harvest.
